About the Department

The general objective of the Physiotherapy Program is to train qualified healthcare technicians who possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to support physiotherapists during assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation processes in modern physiotherapy clinics and rehabilitation centers.

 

  1. To educate graduates with sufficient theoretical knowledge of fundamental physiotherapy concepts, clinical assessment principles, movement sciences, and rehabilitation technologies.
  2. To equip students with technical skills enabling the accurate, safe, and standards-based performance of practical physiotherapy procedures such as therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy methods, hot–cold applications, manual therapy support techniques, and the use of physiotherapy devices.
  3. To train responsible and professional graduates who develop working habits aligned with ethical principles, patient safety, quality control processes, and clinical safety standards.
  4. To cultivate competent individuals who adapt to teamwork, possess strong communication skills, are open to professional development, and follow current physiotherapy practices and technological advancements in rehabilitation.
