 Face to Face Exams

Monday, November 15, 2021

Dear Students,

2021-2022 Education Fall Semester Midterm Exams will be held between 20.11.2021-28.11.2021 and you can learn your exam schedules from OBIS. Examinations of all our courses will be conducted face to face, and we kindly ask you to pay attention to the following points.

Since there are no theoretical hours for workplace-internship courses such as Professional Practice, no visa exam will be given for these courses.

When coming to the exams, make sure you have your student IDs and identity cards with you and put them on your desk so that the supervisor can see them. If your student ID has not been released yet, you should definitely get a photo student certificate from the secretariat and keep it with you during the exam.
Leave all your lecture notes and materials outside of your sitting area before exams.
At least 10 minutes from the exam start time. Be at the exam building first, 15 minutes from the exam start time. Please note that students arriving later will not be admitted to the exam.
If student lists are hung on the classroom doors, be sure to check the lists and take the exam in the classroom where your name is written.

Be sure to fill in all the information on your exam paper and answer paper completely.
Follow the rules stated by the officials at the beginning during the exam.
Due to the ongoing pandemic process, follow all mask-distance-cleaning rules. When your exam is over, leave the classroom and do not crowd the corridors.

Please note that the procedures of students attempting to cheat will be carried out in accordance with the Student Disciplinary Regulations of Higher Education Institutions.
Students can object to their exam grades to the Registrar's Office within 5 (five) working days as of the announcement of their exams. (see IGU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations Article 26/3)
Students who cannot attend the Visa Exam should apply to our Directorate with their health reports within 5 (five) working days from the date of the exam to apply for the make-up exam. In accordance with the IGU Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Examination Regulations, valid health reports are only those obtained from 'State Hospital and University Hospitals'. In accordance with the Covid-19 Pandemic conditions, students who are positive during the exam week can send their documents regarding the positive result information obtained from ASM or e-government to our Directorate (shmyo@gelisim.edu.tr).

We wish you all success.
