Use of Dental Operation Microscope in Root Canal Treatment Increased Success Rate

Nuri Yeniev, a lecturer at Istanbul Gelisim University, said, "Canal treatment, which is one of the most challenging procedures in dentistry, is no longer as difficult as it used to be, with the advancing advanced technology." Instructor See. Dentist Nuri Yeniev made the following statements.

“If the living tissue of the tooth, which we call pulp, is infected or has lost its vitality, root canal treatment is required. Infection of the pulp tissue can cause severe pain to the patient. In this case, we come across root canal treatment, which has been applied for many years. The treatment process, which used to be very difficult for both physicians and patients, is no longer as difficult as it used to be. Along with the widespread use of rotary instrument systems and the development of apex locaters, the use of dental operating microscopes has made endodontics a nightmare. The dental operating microscope, which provides great convenience for both patients and physicians, significantly increases the success rate of treatment by providing a clearer view. Many cases that could have failed due to the lack of a clear vision before are now successfully treated and the tooth is kept in the mouth.”
