Head of Department Message
Dear Students, Prospective Students, and Esteemed Stakeholders,
Healthcare services are undergoing a rapid and comprehensive transformation driven by advances in digital technologies. Telehealth applications, remote patient monitoring systems, digital health platforms, and effective health data management are playing an increasingly important role in making healthcare services more accessible, sustainable, and independent of time and location.
At the Telehealth Technician Program of Istanbul Gelisim University, Vocational School of Health Services, our primary goal is to educate qualified healthcare professionals who can integrate healthcare and technology from a holistic perspective, effectively use telehealth systems, contribute to remote care and patient monitoring processes, and act responsibly regarding health data security and patient privacy.
Our educational approach goes beyond providing students with professional knowledge and technical skills. We aim to educate individuals who are committed to ethical values, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, follow emerging technologies, and embrace lifelong learning. We believe that Telehealth Technicians will play an essential role in the future of healthcare by serving as a strong bridge between human-centered healthcare services and digital technologies.
As we prepare our students for the evolving healthcare ecosystem, we strive to integrate scientific developments, sectoral needs, and technological innovations into our educational processes and provide a dynamic learning environment that supports both their professional and personal development. Our greatest aspiration is for our graduates to become healthcare professionals who contribute to the advancement of digital healthcare through their knowledge, skills, and strong sense of ethical responsibility.
We invite all students who wish to shape the future of telehealth with us to become part of our program, and I wish them every success throughout their academic and professional journeys.
