Head of Department Message
Dear Students, Esteemed Alumni, and Valued Stakeholders,
As the Podiatry Program, our primary goal is to educate modern and well-equipped Podiatry Technicians who possess the scientific knowledge and practical skills required to protect and improve foot health and prevent foot disorders, while remaining committed to professional ethical values. With the increasing importance of preventive healthcare services today, podiatry has become an essential part of the healthcare system. In this regard, our program aims to enhance our students’ professional competencies to the highest level by supporting strong theoretical and practical education with practice-oriented courses.
Throughout our educational process, current scientific approaches are adopted in areas such as diabetic foot care, nail and skin disorders, sterilization and infection control, foot deformities, and the care of corns and hyperkeratosis. To support the professional development of our students, our educational activities are continuously enriched through clinical practice, field studies, seminars, workshops, and events organized with representatives from the healthcare sector.
As the Podiatry Program, our mission extends beyond providing education; we are also committed to contributing to society and raising awareness of foot health. Through social responsibility projects, health awareness activities, and scientific studies carried out within this framework, we contribute to both the academic and social development of our students.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our academic and administrative staff who contribute to this process, the institutions and organizations with which we collaborate, our valued stakeholders, and the students who have chosen our program. I wish all our students an educational journey filled with success.
