We accept that every individual is very sensitive about health. However, to what extent this sensitivity is realized consciously, this issue is thought-provoking. Those who walk every day, those who pay attention to the calories of the food, the amount of fluid to be taken daily, etc. When people refer to health as eating, drinking, sports, etc.; Radiation is an important element that is overlooked or even never thought of. It is invisible, intangible, but it never loses its effect from the moment it is exposed. When exposed to high levels of radiation, symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever and headache are seen. In the following days, conditions such as weakness, apathy, malaise, drowsiness, deterioration in visual and intellectual perceptions, adjustment and sleep disorders, decrease in blood pressure, hair loss are seen. The biggest example in this regard is people who work in cleaning the area where the Chernobyl disaster took place from radiation, abnormally cerebrovascular diseases, mental disorders, autonomic nervous system disorders, etc. in the future. Neurological diseases have been observed. According to a study conducted in Ukraine, Neurological Disease was seen in 2641 people in 1987, based on every 100 thousand people. By 1992, 14021 people had Neurological Disease. Based on the following years, the situation does not seem encouraging at all. Children in the womb have also been affected by this condition, and there has even been a permanent transmission of Neurological Diseases in subsequent generations.
As a result of the studies conducted in Belarus and Ukraine, the ones who suffered the most from radiation were babies in the womb. The results are as follows;
It has been observed that the mathematics and language performances of children exposed to radiation in the womb are at a very low level compared to healthy children.
It was observed that neurological diseases increased abnormally.
There has been an increase in Epilepsy Disease.
A significant increase has been observed in Nervous System and Eye Diseases.
There has been an increase in the rate of births with mental disabilities.
