The increase in health expenditures in the world and in our country and the great development of health technologies cause a rapid growth in the health sector. The Department of Medical Imaging Techniques within the body of Istanbul Gelisim University Health Services Vocational School, where we aim to train qualified health personnel for the health sector, is a 2-year associate degree program that trains medical imaging technicians who can use medical imaging devices that play a vital role in diagnosing diseases and following the treatment process.

Within the scope of the education aimed at internationalization implemented by our university, many courses other than theoretical courses are carried out practically, and students are offered the opportunity to reinforce what they have learned. Our university, where the principle of learning by doing is adopted, enables our students to get to know the sector and the devices that form the basis of their profession, thanks to the collaborations with various health institutions.

Students of the Medical Imaging Techniques Department, where education and training activities are carried out at international standards with our professional education staff, are equipped with professional knowledge and skills thanks to courses such as information technologies, medical radiological terminology, medical imaging, radiation safety and protection, radiological anatomy, advanced medical imaging, organization in radiology. is graduating. Our graduates, who gain the ability to use the technology in their field through applied courses, participate in the health sector as qualified technicians who are compatible with teamwork, follow the developments in the world in imaging technology, think analytically, are sensitive to society and the environment, and can communicate strongly with patients and their relatives.
