Dear Students,

As the Medical Imaging Techniques Program of Istanbul Gelisim University, we carry out our education and training, scientific research, and community service activities within the framework of our University’s core values of sustainability, innovation, academic merit, and internationalization.

In this context, our primary goal is to educate qualified healthcare professionals who meet the needs of the healthcare sector, can effectively utilize scientific knowledge and technology, are committed to patient safety and ethical values, and possess strong professional knowledge and skills.

Our program, offered within the Vocational School of Health Services, is a two-year associate degree program that trains medical imaging technicians who are qualified to operate medical imaging equipment that plays a vital role in the diagnosis of diseases and the monitoring of treatment processes.

With our professional academic staff, the Medical Imaging Techniques Program provides education and training in accordance with international standards. Our program focuses on enabling students to acquire both in-depth theoretical knowledge and advanced practical skills in modern imaging modalities such as radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, and ultrasonography. Equipped with current scientific approaches and interdisciplinary education, our students graduate with the competencies required to contribute to improving the quality and reliability of healthcare services.

Our curriculum is enriched by hospital internships undertaken both during the academic term and the summer period. It is continuously improved and aligned with international standards through student-centered learning processes, a research-based approach, and the principles of professional ethics. We remain committed to providing an educational environment that enhances our students’ academic achievement, professional competencies, and social awareness.
