Management Of Health Institutions

 Sustainability in Health Management

Quality has a great importance within the scope of the concept of sustainability in the health sector. Sustainability, which is a multi-faceted concept, basically means a sustainable life, a future-oriented life. Sustainability in health services, on the other hand, is to ensure the continuity of the quality of health services when we look at it in terms of quality. Ensuring the continuity of quality increases the demand for a health institution that provides a good health service. This means that patient satisfaction also increases.

Sustainable health services are also effective on productivity. Ensuring the continuity of efficiency in health services contributes to sustainable health services. The health sector is one of the most complex and rapidly changing sectors in accordance with the requirements of the age. Healthcare is constantly being transformed by new techniques, technologies, medicines, delivery systems. Depending on the developments in health services, the responsibilities of health managers are increasing.

Health care managers should be able to constantly improve themselves in order to ensure sustainability in issues such as cost-effectiveness, patient safety, patient satisfaction, and providing higher quality health care services. A wide variety of activities must be addressed while maintaining or even improving the quality of care in terms of sustainability in healthcare. In order to be successful in the profession, our students studying in the Health Institutions Management program should constantly improve themselves, follow the developments in the field of health and health management and be able to keep up with these developments.

Stay well.
