Management Of Health Institutions

Health Management in the Pandemic Process

Covid-19, which is effective all over the world and in Turkey, has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization and needs to be seriously addressed, especially within the scope of health institutions and management.

Health managers are responsible for the organization of all health personnel, the monitoring and management of the country's pandemic processes, the evaluation and sharing of the results, the making and planning of necessary warnings and studies, and the management of diagnosis, treatment and process control. There are some rules that health sector managers, who have the greatest responsibility in pandemics, should pay attention to.

These rules:

1- Being foresight about the pandemic process, taking primary precautions,
2- Deciding on the speed of the situations that have arisen or will occur,
3- Putting the decisions into practice,
4- Making evaluations on the results,
5- Taking secondary measures as a result of evaluations and realizing their processes,
6- Planning and implementing the processes of returning to normal.

During the COVID-19 process, radical measures have been taken and continue to be taken in our country and all over the world. Since health managers are actively involved in every step of the pandemic process, they have important responsibilities in making, carrying out and managing the necessary preparations. During the Covid-19 pandemic, all health workers and health managers have worked and continue to work with great effort. I would like to thank all health workers and all health managers for their efforts.
