While it is expected that one out of every 5 men and one out of every 6 women in the world will develop cancer during their lifetime, it is predicted that one out of every 8 men and one out of every 11 women will die due to cancer. Cancers develop due to environmental factors with a high rate. Among these environmental factors; use of tobacco and tobacco products, alcohol consumption, being overweight or obese, and infections. By preventing exposure to these factors, 30-50% of cancers can be prevented. Considering the types of cancer that can be treated and improved quality of life when diagnosed early, the importance of prevention increases even more.

Performing a smear test and HPV-DNA test every 5 years for women aged 30-65
For men and women aged 50-70, stool occult blood test every 2 years and colonoscopy every 10 years are free of charge.
