The Dialysis Program prepares our students for work life as a two-year associate degree program in Health Services Vocational School. The main topics of the program are dialysis used in the treatment of patients with renal failure due to various reasons and dialysis patients. In the curriculum of the Dialysis Program, our students are given theoretical and laboratory based practical training on hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplantation and they are required to graduate with the title of "Dialysis Technician".
As in the whole world, there is a significant increase in the number of patients diagnosed with chronic renal failure every year in our country. Dialysis is vital to the lives of these patients. The necessity of dialysis to improve the quality of life of the patients by professional health technicians and the increase in the number of dialysis centers, increase the need for skilled technicians graduated from Dialysis Program. Dialysis Program graduates, who has job opportunities in dialysis units of private and public institutions' hospitals and dialysis centers, has the chance to make a vertical transition to the undergraduate programs such as Health Education, Health Officer, Nursing, Nursing and Health Services if they are successful in the Vertical Transition Exam.
Dialysis technicians who have ethical values, who hold human health in front of everything and who are tolerant and resistant to stressful working conditions and who are strong in human relations are being trained in the dialysis program which is prepared with advanced and technological opportunities prepared by professional and experienced academic staff in accordance with our internationalization goal.
