Dear Students,
Health and technology have become two fields that cannot be considered separately from one another in today’s world.Many innovations, ranging from medical devices used in diagnosis and treatment to AI-powered systems, and from robotic surgery to smart health technologies we use in our daily lives, are shaping the future of healthcare services. In order for these technologies to be used accurately, safely, and effectively, competent biomedical technicians are needed in the field.
As the Biomedical Device Technology Program at Istanbul Gelişim University, our goal is not only to teach our students the operating principles of medical devices, but also to train professionals who can keep pace with evolving technology, apply the knowledge they have gained, and develop solutions to the technical problems they encounter.
In this regard, we support our students through theoretical training, laboratory practice, and internship experiences, and we place importance on incorporating advancements in health technologies into our educational programs. Because we know that the key to success in the biomedical field lies not only in understanding current technology but also in keeping up with the technologies of the future.
I wish success to all our students who have set out or wish to set out on this path with the goal of being part of a technology that touches human health, continuously developing themselves in this ever-evolving field, and taking part in the health technologies of the future.
