Audiometry Laboratory
Audiometry students take theoretical and practical lessons and use various tests in order to determine if children and adults hear at normal levels or not and if a hearing problem is detected, they state the level and attempt to dissolve the problem with hearing aid or cochlear implants. In addition, the investigation of the source of the problem in the patients who have a balance problem is also in the study area of the audiometry technicians. Audiometry Department students experience the necessary tests and various applications in their professional life in the Audiometry Laboratory and increase their knowledge and skills in practice. The laboratory prepared for the internationalization goal of İstanbul Gelisim University offers students the opportunity to use this technology in this area.
