Dear Students and Prospective Students,
One of the branches that has come to the fore in the health sector in recent years is oral and dental health. In addition to eliminating the problems in the teeth, people's desire to have beautiful teeth in appearance has led to an increase in the need for technicians who are experts in prosthesis. The Department of Dental Prosthesis Technology was established to meet this need.
In the Dental Prosthesis Technology program, dental prosthesis technicians are trained, who make the necessary prostheses by applying the latest and advanced technologies in the laboratory environment during the treatment planned by the dentist in order to complete the lost teeth in appearance and regain functionality. The dental prosthesis technician plays an active role in the aesthetic and correct completion of the treatment. The suitability of the prosthesis to the mouth and jaw structure of the patient is of great importance in terms of both health and aesthetics.
In the Dental Prosthesis Technology Department of Istanbul Gelişim University, which provides training for the internationalization goal, technicians with a developed aesthetic point of view are trained, who have the necessary professional knowledge in all processes of prosthesis production, have gained the ability to use current technology.
We are here to train graduates with up-to-date and sufficient professional and/or academic qualifications and with comparative advantage. I wish you all success in both your student and business life...
